Rennen Motorsport ยท Track & Motorsport
The Gentleman Racer pathway is for Porsche owners who want to take their driving further than the road allows. Track days, circuit preparation, motorsport entry and race support โ all backed by the Rennen workshop team and Mark Buik's experience building and running competition Porsche.
The Pathway
Track preparation and motorsport entry begin with a road car that is mechanically correct. Before any Gentleman Racer conversation, Rennen will confirm your Porsche is properly serviced, has no outstanding faults and has been inspected for track suitability. This is not a gate โ it is common sense. A reliable, well-maintained Porsche is faster, safer and more enjoyable on track.
For Adelaide Porsche owners, that usually means checking brakes, tyres, wheel alignment, suspension condition, cooling system health, fluids, diagnostic faults and service history before chasing lap times. The goal is to build confidence progressively: first a healthy road car, then sensible track-day preparation, then more serious motorsport support if the driver and car are ready for it. For 911, Cayman, Boxster and GT Porsche owners, that staged approach protects the car while still giving the driver a proper pathway from spirited road use to organised circuit work, without turning a well-kept Porsche into an unreliable project.
